Dear Reformer:

I cannot tell you how strong I feel personally and by the unction of the Lord about the Manhattan Declaration.
This is a coming together in The Church around three central themes:

The sanctity of human life
The dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife
The rights of conscience and religious liberty.

If you have not read ALL of the Declaration, you must. Its not long but it is one of THE most important documents and position papers of our lifetime. I am choosing my words purposefully. This is a call to every American Christian to be willing to stand and proclaim Truth even if the laws of our land call it illegal. Civil disobedience is a Biblical principle when the laws of Man contradict the Laws of God. ( see Acts 4 )
This update below is important and contains PRACTICAL steps!! Our generation is answering This Call!

Thank you for your support of the Manhattan Declaration.

It is off to an amazing start - over 370,000 signers and growing. And it is indeed historic: Evangelicals, Catholics, Anglicans, and Eastern Orthodox Christians uniting to give common witness to the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage, and religious liberty for all persons.

But we need your help: our goal is one million signatures.

The marketing pros tell us we will never get to a million signatures without expensive advertising. But we want to prove them wrong. And we can: just think if each person who has signed the Declaration were to get just two others to sign. That would be one million people standing arm in arm in defense of the most vital moral truths in our society.

Remember, too, we are not just collecting signatures; we seek a movement of people defending the truth in the public square. We are already witnessing signs of this: Christians in Mobile, Alabama called us 13 days before Christmas to tell us they were planning a large ecumenical gathering for the 23rd of December. I (Chuck Colson) agreed to speak. At 6:00 AM on December 23, 2,000 citizens, led by clergy from all over the city, gathered in a packed hall in the Convention Center for a rousing rally. Seldom have I seen so much excitement in one room - and all of this was accomplished just by word of mouth with only 11 days to organize!

Just ten days ago, Cardinal Rigali of Philadelphia, Archbishop Wuerl of Washington, DC, Archbishop Dolan of New York and Archbishop Kurtz of Louisville reached out to all of their brother Catholic bishops asking them to spread this document throughout their dioceses and encourage their clergy and faithful to study it and join as signatories.

The Archbishop of Detroit has planned a grassroots effort throughout his archdiocese. The Bishop of Phoenix has already organized a grassroots effort there.

We are also receiving many reports of evangelical gatherings in a number of areas - and many evangelical pastors referring to the Manhattan Declaration in their sermons.

This bold and exciting movement needs to reach 100 or 200 cities in America. Why not? Can you help? We are urging you to encourage your pastors and community leaders to do what these other cities are doing. Organize ecumenical meetings organized around the Manhattan Declaration; get other concerned citizens to join the effort. Get on the internet or phone and ask friends to join you. If you let us know you want to organize something we can help link you up with others in your area.

As with any grassroots movement, the strength and energy has to come from the people. We have no staff and limited budget. We’re people who care passionately and deeply about life, marriage, and liberty. So here’s what we are asking you to do.

Pray fervently. Great movements of faith have always spread on the wings of prayer.
Know the issues. If you study this Declaration - and a study guide is available on our website - then you can winsomely explain and defend it to your neighbors and friends. The document itself makes a great apologetic defense for these moral truths.
Look for resources on this website as we’re able to post them, and search the websites of the Christian organizations that offer resources in these three areas. You can see the names of the various leaders who have signed the Declaration and then visit their websites.
Of utmost importance, get your own church involved. As pastors preach, the movement will spread. Prayer meetings and Bible studies on the Declaration are being conducted in many churches, which is a great step.
Make full use of Facebook, Twitter, and all the devices available today for social networking. Or just go to gatherings in your own community and speak out on this issue. Cultures are changed over the backyard fence, the barbeque grill, and in hair salons - always from the bottom up. Do everything you can possibly do to educate others.
Organize local gatherings like the one in Mobile. If you want an audio or video of Chuck Colson’s talk at the event, you will be able to see it on the website in the next few days. You can also read a firsthand report on how they did this.

Just think what might happen in our land if one million courageous Christians declared their uncompromising allegiance to Jesus Christ and to biblical faithfulness on some of the most urgent moral issues of our day.

May God give us the strength to do what He is so clearly calling us to do. From our perspective, this is a cause worth giving every last ounce of effort and energy we have.

Historic connected prayer has been taking place over Texas with the culmination taking place with an historic gathering in Austin, Texas !

Friday night Oct. 2^nd at 6 pm in Austin, Texas at Promise Land Church’s Theatre Building, the Texas Apostolic Network will be convening the final “Hosting His Presence-Connecting The Glory” meeting. This Statewide gathering is the culmination of SIXTEEN WEEKS of meetings moving from region to region in Texas every Friday night. Every Saturday night: We have NOW begun to raise up an Apostolic Center! We are having meetings every Saturday night! This will be a new wineskin church home for many. A place to finally..fully…connect and commit!!

Every week there will be personal ministry, prophetic flow, revelatory teaching and the abandoned, free worship that we are known for. We are excited to announce a new structure for Rally Call Institute that we will be launching this fall. This eighteen month program will focus on helping you discover which Mountain of Culture you are called to impact and transform. We will then help train you in that specific area of calling. The first nine months of this program will focus on foundations that will help you serve any of the Mountains. This first year will give you a solid place to build on so that whatever arena of culture God has called you to you will be full of revelation and passion for the Kingdom of God and a Biblical Worldview.

During the second year of your training, there will be certain foundational issues that we will continue to focus on; however, during a portion of your training, you will be split up into classes that will focus on your area of destiny and calling.

Please see the below list of classes that we plan on offering. Let us help you make a greater impact into the sector of our society that is in your heart to see change.

Note: This eighteen month program if taken in full will award you an accredited bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry (this is a private accreditation and not associated with the US Dept. of Education). There are other options that allow you to simply get a certificate of completion if you do not want to earn your bachelor’s degree. As always tuition is very affordable at $1000 per person or $1500 per married couple for the first nine months and $800 per person or $1200 per couple for the 2nd nine months. School starts at the end of August and concludes at the end of May each year and it located in Austin, TX. If you can’t get to Austin, then we can offer you training through our live telecampus.

Join A Gate Meeting

Rally Call Center has several different prayer gathering throughout the city. There is currently a Northgate meeting, and a southgate meeting. These consist of the families that live in those areas that get together once a month to pray for the city, and each other.

Shattering False ALTARS

Our night of Davidic worship was launched as Doug prophesied that one word of the Lord would break down the alters. (I Kings 13) Although it looked like the king had everything and could do anything he wanted, it only took one word from the Lord to bring in one, Josiah, who would tear down the false alters. Doug even spoke of Iran and the false alter in that nation. Karen then prophesied that the alter of socialism would be shattered in America. God was raising up Josiahs to speak the word of the Lord and blow his wind across the nation that would destroy this alter that so clearly contradicts God’s character and His nature. Art then began to prophesy that Texas would come into her prophetic destiny and be a state where social justice would be released according to God’s pattern and design. He called forth the African-American and Hispanic communities to institute this new and righteous social justice to replace the entitlement system of today. Shetay sang and prophesied of the wind of the Spirit blowing across America ushering in the glory of the Lord in these arenas. The worship was concluded with us singing to the “dry bones” of the church to arise.

Bob then encouraged us that we were indeed born during this season in the earth to address these issues and false alters. It was both inspiring and challenging.

The Greatest Generation

Saturday night we spent time in worship facing the North, South, East and West as we called in those who need to come into the apostolic. Later the worship team sang to each gate of the city…commanding them to open. Towards the end of the worship, Bob felt a real unction to pray for healing for several who were in the service and some outside the service that we are connected to. There was such a strong anointing that was released.

After worship, Evert Daughetee, a WWII vet and good friend of Rally Call, shared his life’s testimony. He told many stories of the goodness and miraculous power of the Lord. Evert and his wife have been all over the world serving in many sectors of society by releasing God’s truth where ever they were at in that season. It was an honor to listen to a man who is part of the “greatest generation”…a generation of ordinary men and women who sacrificed everything to save the world. Everyone was blessed by his story and the time of fellowship and food that followed the service.

Join us next Saturday at 5pm. You never know what God might do.

Saturday Night Report

Tonight’s worship started in a place of celebration with shouting and dancing. It was a time of victory. As the worship progressed, we launched into a place of Kingdom authority and crown and thrown worship. We were taken to a place where a prophetic word was released that God is the creator, the potter, the “shaper” of the clay. God began to declare that if He could use a Cyrus to change a nation that He could certainly use us in our day.

The worship concluded with a word that spoke of a shift in the church by the Potter. Paraphrased: Even as a shift is coming in our own nation, as the government shifts on Tuesday, there will be many other governments throughout the earth that will shift. Leaders will rise and fall. Governments will shift and be reshaped and restructured. This shifting will be a sign that the Lord is shifting and reforming the church. The church is truly being raised up as a holy nation. The church will become a model for the nations of the earth. Following this word, we asked the Lord to use us in this process in the earth.

Then Art Serna preached concerning everyone’s desire to be a hero. He began to call us out of a place of passivity and victimization so that we can be those who will bring breakthrough in the earth. God’s desire is to release to us a new wine skin where we will have a new structure and a new strategy. We, the church, will have a new freedom in worship and will be a new life and light in the earth. Let is be, oh God!

A Night of Worship and Adoration

The last Saturday night of 2008 was a night of worship and adoration to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After Bruce opened up in prayer, Adam and the Worship team began to set the atmosphere of praise at the Rally Call Center. After a spontaneous flow by the Worship team, Apostle Bob chimed in and confirmed, by the Spirit, the direction for the evening. He declared that it was a night of worship and adoration to the Lord. He also thanked God for miracles, signs and wonders and asked the Holy Spirit to flow through the place. Bob concluded with encouraging people to release a prayer or prophetic word as they felt led by the Spirit.

The Worship team continued to sing anointed Christmas carols like “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “Silent Night”, and “O Holy Night”. Adam released a prophetic flow that sparked an atmosphere of celebration. Bob proceeded to pray for miracles (beyond what we see in Christmas movies) for each family connected with Rally Call Ministries. As a result, John reflected on how God spared his hand from being dismantled while it was caught in between his car and wheel well. Then, Bob was prompted to encourage a couple of people with prophetic words. Right before Bob’s message, we continued in worship and released a new sound to the Lord.

The Message

Bob was prompted to share two phrases: “Bread of Life” and “Lamb of God.

“Bread of Life” - John 6:41-51

He encouraged us to think about what it took God to fulfill the prophecy in Micah 5 – birth of the King in Bethlehem. Bethlehem, Joseph’s hometown, means “house of bread”. Jesus had to be born in the city of the House of Bread, because he is the Living Bread. He couldn’t be born anywhere else in the cosmos.

“Lamb of God” – Luke 2:11

Bob highlighted that the words used to describe baby Jesus is verse (a Savior, who is Christ, the Lord) are not just adjectives, but they describe His identity! He concluded with encouraging us to press in during this season and go beyond common clichés, such as Jesus is the reason of the season, because there is so much more to His identity; so much more depth and knowledge than we can gleam from the scriptures about who Jesus really is.

The night ended the way we started with an extended time of worship and adoration as we sang “Unto Us” and released a new sound unto our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
